Bood (officially Barangay Bood) is one of the 44 barangays constituting the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

The barangay's total land area is approximately 152 hectares,[3] with a population of 2,397[4] as of 2007. In the last 2010 National election, it had 1,364[5] registered voters.

Barangay Bood celebrates its annual fiesta every January 16 in honor of their patron saint.

Location

Barangay Bood is situated south of the town center, Poblacion. The local vicinity is bounded by barangay Casate to the west; barangay Imelda to the east; and barangay Calanggaman to the south.

Political subdivisions

There are seven puroks or units in the barangay manned by the elected kagawads including the Punong Barangay or Barangay chairman.
