Science and Technology Committee (Georgia Senate)

The Senate Science and Technology Committee is a five member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and two members. The Committee operates under a Senate mandate to regulate all matters of legislation placed upon science and technology.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The Senate Science and Technology Committee is responsible for all areas of legislation that influences the promotion or restraint of current technological applications and accepted scientific norms and to evaluate the effect of the legislation placed upon it.[1]
