Los Medanos[1] (from Spanish: Los Médanos or Médaños: The Sand Dunes)[3] is an unincorporated community in Contra Costa County, California, United States.[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 2.5 miles (4 km) west of downtown Antioch,[4] at an elevation of 39 feet (12 m).[1]
