Jewell (formerly, Jewells) is an unincorporated community in Marin County, California.^[1] It is located 11 miles (18 km) west-southwest of Novato,^[2] at an elevation of 79 feet (24 m).^[1]

The name honors Omar Jewell, who ranched nearby in the 1860s.^[2]
