Wiest is an unincorporated community in Imperial County, California.^[1] It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) southeast of Calipatria,^[2] at an elevation of 135 feet (41 m) below sea level.^[1]

A post office operated at Wiest from 1907 to 1910 and from 1914 to 1933.^[2] The name honors Daniel W. Wiest, an early settler.^[2]
