Ōmu (雄武町 Ōmu-chō) is a town located in Monbetsu District, Okhotsk Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan.
As of 2008, the town has an estimated population of 5,132 and a population density of 8.1 persons per km². The total area is 637.03 km².
Climate
Omu has a humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification Dfb) with warm summers and cold winters. Precipitation is significant throughout the year, but is heaviest from August to October.
