The Pro-Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace[1] (Portuguese: Pró-catedral Nossa Senhora da Graça) also called Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace, is the name given to a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the Alexandre Albuquerque Square, in the neighborhood Platô (Plateau of Praia) in the city [2] and the municipality of Praia, on the island of Santiago, part of the African country of Cape Verde. The church extends up to Avenida Andrade Corvo.

The present church was opened on August 15, 1902,[3] although the parish dates back more than 400 years ago.[4] Follow the Roman or Latin rite and functions as the headquarters of the Diocese of Santiago de Cape Verde[5] (Dioecesis Sancti Iacobi Capitis Viridis) which was created in 1533 by the Bull "Pro excellenti praeeminentia" of Pope Clement VII. It is under the pastoral responsibility of Arlindo Gomes Furtado Cardinal.

Pope John Paul II visited the temple on January 25, 1990.
