Douglas MacArthur, United States Army General is remembered for his services in many places. Schools, roads and parks are among those that have been named in his honor. MacArthur was enormously popular with the American public, even after his defeat in the Philippines, and across the United States streets, public works, children and even a dance step were named for him during World War II as well.[1]
