Jakarta Kota - Bekasi line is the third busiest line in the Commuter Line system, after red line and yellow line.[1][2]

Line and stations between Jakarta Kota and Manggarai are shared with the Jakarta Kota - Bogor line.

Line expansion to Cikarang is currently ongoing and expected to complete in 2017.[3]
