The MRT3 or Circle Line will be the third MRT line for Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project and is currently under final planning and evaluation.[3] Announcement of alignment and station locations was expected during the second quarter of 2011. The Circle Line is expected to cover the hotspots surrounding the Bandar Malaysia, KL Ecocity, Bukit Kiara and Sentul. Interest in building the line resurfaced in early 2015.[4]

The line is part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project.

When completed, the line will be one of the components of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.
