Camp Spaulding is a former settlement in Nevada County, California. Camp Spaulding is located 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Yuba Gap.[2] It is situated at an elevation of 5,157 ft (1,572 m) above sea level.[1]

History

The settlement began for workers building a nearby power plant for the Pacific Gas & Electric Spaulding Dam at nearby Ohm in 1913.[2]

It was founded by Elizabeth Ward Spaulding.
