Shamrock, Missouri

Shamrock is an unincorporated community in Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

History

A post office called Shamrock was established in 1833, and remained in operation until 1954.[2] The community was named after the shamrock since a large share of the first settlers were natives of Ireland.[3]
