Kettle, California

Kettle is a former settlement in Plumas County, California.^[1] Kettle is located on the former stage coach route 6 miles (9.7 km) southeast of Beckwourth.^[1]

The Kettle post office opened in 1899, moved in 1906, and closed in 1910.^[1] The name honored the pioneering Kettle family.^[1]
