China Gulch is a former settlement in Plumas County, California.^[1] It lay at an elevation of 5610 feet (1710 m).^[1] China Gulch is located 5.5 miles (8.9 km) south of Bucks Lake.^[2] It still appeared on maps as of 1897.^[2]

A smelter for the Engels Copper Mine was located at China Gulch.
