Pre-season friendlies

On 8 May 2015, Macclesfield Town announced that Rochdale will visit on 18 July 2015 in a pre-season friendly.[25] On 18 May 2015, a friendly match against League One side Bury was confirmed.[26] A day later, Macclesfield Town added Kidsgrove Athletic and Nantwich Town to their pre-season schedule.[27] Another friendly was added to the pre-season schedule on 20 May 2015, against Stockport County.[28] On 27 May 2015, the club announced Stoke U21's will visit on 1 August 2015.[29] On 2 June 2015, a friendly against Sheffield United was announced.[30] On 30 July 2015, the game against Stoke was called off.[31] On 31 July 2015, this was replaced by a home friendly against Congleton Town.[32]
