The Yilan County Government (Chinese: 宜蘭縣政府; pinyin: Yilán Xiàn Zhèngfǔ) is the local government of the Republic of China that governs Yilan County.

Architecture

The county government is headquartered at the Yilan County Hall under the name County Government Center-Urban Area with a total area of 238 hectares. The county hall was designed and constructed with the sense of community in mind with a new image to replace the unfriendly stereotype of the traditional public administration building with that of a welcoming center open to the public. The design of the space and facilities of the building reflects a traditional cultural past. The main development sectors which include the public facilities occupies 112 hectares of the area.

Yilan County Hall is joined by the relocated Yilan County Council building, Local Court and District Attorney's Office. Altogether, these buildings were established within the structures of modern democratic political models of urban planning.[1]
