Curt Schilling announced during an October 18, 2016 radio interview that he had decided to run for the U.S. Senate.[1] Schilling clarified that he had not spoken to his wife yet, and would only go through with a campaign if she approved.[1] Schilling's wife called into the radio station later that day to say that she is undecided on whether he should run.[1]
