Sam must prevent black civil rights leader Nathaniel from being lynched by the Ku Klux Klan while trying to explain to his host's son the evils of racism, but due to Sam's upbringing, it becomes very difficult to act like the person he has leaped into to avoid his own lynching. Michael Beach and Glenn Morshower also guest star.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt also guest stars.
