Laura Carter (born 13 September 1985) is an English actress.

Early life

Carter is originally from Bingley, West Yorkshire.[1] She studied Drama at Intake Performing Arts College in Leeds in 2004.[1]

Career

Her first television credit was in 2008, in The Royal Today. She then had minor roles in award-winning Channel 4 drama Red Riding, soap operas Emmerdale, Casualty and Holby City, as well as in the second series of BBC drama The Syndicate.

Carter was also featured on the Clean & Clear idents for E4 show 90210.[2] She appeared as one of the main cast in E4's Young, Free & Single.[2]

In 2016, Carter took part in the seventeenth series of the Channel 5 reality television series Big Brother.[2] On Day 46, she became the eighth housemate to be evicted, meaning she had finished in ninth place.

Following her appearance on Big Brother, Carter appeared on other shows such as Loose Women and Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

Personal life

Carter lived in London with fiancé Anthony Lewis of Emmerdale, until their engagement ended in 2014. She has been romantically linked to Justin Bieber.[3]

Since September 2014, Carter has lived in Sheffield in the Burngreave area of the city with her long lost friend Bernado Carter and their family.
