List of Big Brother 16 housemates (UK)

The following is a list of housemates in the sixteenth series of Big Brother UK.

Aaron

Aaron Frew, aged 24, is a model from Northampton.[1] He entered the House on Day 1.[2] On Day 13, Aaron was nominated by his fellow Housemates, however in a twist, all of the nominated Housemates were saved and swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe. On Day 17, Aaron was ejected from the House following inappropriate behaviour.[3]

Adjoa

Adjoa Mensah, aged 22, is a model and law student from Manchester.[1] She was born to Ghanaian parents and her first language is Dutch.[4] Following her entry on Day 1, the public voted for her alongside four other Housemates to participate in the series' first Timebomb challenge.[2][5] On Day 6, Adjoa was nominated by her fellow Housemates face-to-face.[6] On Day 11, she became the second Housemate to be evicted having received the most votes to evict against Eileen and Sarah.[7]

Amy and Sally

Amy and Sally Broadbent, both aged 27, are twins from Manchester.[1] They are competing as one Housemate. Amy is a nightclub host whilst Sally is a personal trainer. Before appearing on Big Brother, both Amy and Sally briefly appeared on The Only Way Is Essex,[8] and Amy took part in Love Machine, a dating show.[9] They entered the House on Day 1.[2] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Amy & Sally faced the second eviction.[10] They eventually became the third Housemate to be evicted on Day 18 having received the most votes to evict.[11]

Chloe

Chloe Wilburn, aged 25, is an office administrator from Doncaster.[1] She entered the House on Day 1.[2] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Chloe faced the second eviction.[10] She survived this eviction on Day 18.[11] On Day 35, Chloe was nominated for the next eviction following a twist meaning Marc and the legends; consisting of Brian Belo, Helen Wood and Nikki Grahame were solely responsible for deciding who should be nominated.[12] She survived this eviction on Day 39.[13] After missing out on immunity during the Cash Bomb twist, Chloe was nominated for eviction on Day 55 after Nick saved himself by placing the highest bid from the prize fund money. This meant that he had to choose a Housemate to take his place, and chose Chloe as she was the only eligible Housemate.[14] On Day 58, as part of another Cash Bomb twist, Chloe was offered the chance to take £5,000 for herself or add it to the prize fund for the winner to receive. She decided to take it for herself. She survived the eviction on Day 60 earning herself a place in the final. On Day 66, Chloe was voted the winner of the series.

Cristian

Matthew Clarkson, known as Cristian MJC, aged 20, is a rapper from London.[1] He has also done modelling work and is a biomedical student. He entered the House on Day 1.[2] On Day 6, Cristian was nominated by his fellow Housemates face-to-face, but was saved immediately afterwards following a twist where Jack gave one of his immunity passes to him.[15] For the second week running on Day 13, Cristian was nominated by his fellow Housemates, however once again in a twist he was saved as all of the nominated Housemates were swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe.[10] On Day 36, Cristian was nominated for the next eviction following a twist meaning Marc and the legends; consisting of Brian Belo, Helen Wood and Nikki Grahame were solely responsible for deciding who should be nominated.[16] He survived this eviction on Day 39, but as Jade left the House she was asked to nominate one of the remaining Housemates. She chose Cristian. It was later announced that Cristian would have to nominate another Housemate to face eviction in Nomination Tag.[17] He chose to nominate Sam.[18] On Day 46, he survived this eviction.[19] In the Cash Bomb twist on Day 54, Cristian won immunity and therefore earned himself a place in the final week, however it came at a price as he had to nominate another Housemate to automatically face eviction. He chose Nick.[20] On Day 66, Cristian left the House having finished in sixth place.

Danny

Daniel Wisker, aged 29, is a demolition expert from Margate, who has played in the FA Cup for Margate F.C..[1] Before Big Brother, Danny appeared in Girlfriends,[4] and was an extra on The Only Way Is Essex.[9] He entered the House on Day 1.[2] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Danny faced the second eviction.[10] However he survived this eviction on Day 18.[11] Danny was nominated by Joel on Day 42 in Nomination Tag therefore faced the next eviction.[21] Following this, he chose to nominate Nick.[22] On Day 46, Danny survived this eviction.[19] In the Cash Bomb twist on Day 54, Danny won immunity and therefore earned himself a place in the final week, however it came at a price as he had to nominate another Housemate to automatically face eviction. He chose Harry Amelia.[20] Danny left the House on Day 66 after finishing in third place.

Eileen

Main article: Eileen Daly

Eileen Daly (born Eileen Mary Theresa Barnes), aged 51, is a singer and actress from London.[1] Before appearing on Big Brother, Eileen auditioned for the tenth series of The X Factor with her partner Ben, reaching Boot Camp but progressed no further.[9] She also featured in the music video of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love", as well as appearing in a number of cult horror movies.[4] She entered the House on Day 1.[2] During a task on Day 2, it emerged that Eileen had appeared in a pornographic movie when she was a teenager.[23] Eileen was nominated face-to-face by her fellow Housemates on Day 6,[6] however she survived this eviction on Day 11.[7] For the second week running on Day 13, Eileen was nominated by her fellow Housemates, however in a twist, all of the nominated Housemates were saved and swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe.[10] On Day 20, Eileen was nominated again for eviction after a twist meant Sam and Simon were solely responsible for deciding who should face the public vote.[24] This eventually lead to her being evicted on Day 25 having received the most votes to evict against Joel.[25]

Harriet

Harriet Jackson, aged 22, is a café worker from London.[1] She entered the House on Day 1.[2] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Harriet faced the second eviction.[10] She became the fourth Housemate to be evicted on Day 18 and left via Big Brother's Timebomb machine.[11]

Harry Amelia

Harry Amelia Martin, aged 22, is a model from Loughborough.[1] She entered the House on Day 18 via Big Brother's Timebomb machine replacing evicted Housemate Harriet.[11] On Day 34, she was nominated for the next eviction following a twist meaning Marc and the legends; consisting of Brian Belo, Helen Wood and Nikki Grahame were solely responsible for deciding who should be nominated.[26] She survived this eviction on Day 39, but was nominated again on Day 40 after receiving a nomination from Sam in Nomination Tag.[27] She then chose to nominate Simon.[28] Harry survived this eviction on Day 46.[19] Despite this, Harry Amelia was nominated for the third time on Day 48.[29] On Day 53, Harry Amelia survived this eviction.[30] On Day 54, following the Cash Bomb twist, Harry Amelia was automatically nominated after she was chosen by Danny to face eviction.[20] On Day 60, Harry Amelia was evicted.

Jack

Jack McDermott, aged 23, is a floor manager at a fast food restaurant from Plymouth.[1] Before appearing on Big Brother, Jack was also a contestant on Deal or No Deal where he took away £7,000.[9] Following his entry on Day 1, the public voted for him alongside four other Housemates to participate in the series' first Timebomb challenge. During the challenge, he won three immunity passes to use at any time during the series.[2][5] On Day 4, a second Timebomb twist offered him a BMW car worth £27,000 in exchange for his place in the House. In addition, the overall prize fund would disappear. He decided to stay in the House.[31] On Day 6, despite surviving face-to-face nominations, Jack was given the opportunity to give one of his immunity passes to one of the nominated Housemates. He chose Cristian.[15] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Jack faced the second eviction, however he chose to use one of his two remaining immunity passes therefore saved himself.Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Harriet faced the second eviction.[10] On Day 21, Jack was nominated for eviction after a twist meant Sam and Simon were solely responsible for deciding who should face the public vote, however he decided to use his last remaining immunity pass therefore saving himself.[24] During Nomination Tag, Jack was nominated for eviction on Day 41 after receiving a nomination from Simon. Jack later decided to nominate Joel.[32] On Day 46, Jack survived this eviction despite receiving the second most votes to evict behind Simon.[19] On Day 48, Jack was nominated once again for eviction, this time through the normal Diary Room process.[29] Jack survived this eviction on Day 53.[30] On Day 54, following the Cash Bomb twist, Jack was automatically nominated after he was chosen by Sam to face eviction.[20] He survived this eviction on Day 60 earning himself a place in the final. During another twist on Day 61, the Housemates were given the opportunity to steal £23,900 which they had earned towards the prize fund that day. As Jack pressed his button before his fellow Housemates, he won the cash.[33] On Day 66, Jack left the House in fourth place.

Jade

Jade-Martina Lynch, aged 24, is a model and student from Dublin.[1] Following her entry on Day 1, the public voted for her alongside four other Housemates to participate in the series' first Timebomb challenge. During the challenge, she won the power of luxury.[2][5] On Day 13, Jade was nominated by her fellow Housemates, but in a twist, all of the nominated Housemates were saved and swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe.[10] On Day 37, Jade was nominated for the next eviction following a twist meaning Marc and the legends; consisting of Brian Belo, Helen Wood and Nikki Grahame were solely responsible for deciding who should be nominated.[34] She was eventually evicted on Day 39 and was immediately forced to nominate one of the Housemates. She chose to nominate Cristian.[17] On Day 64, Jade made a brief return to the House as part of a task.

Joel

Joel Williams, aged 19, is a student and local Conservative councillor from Cardiff.[1] He entered the House on Day 1.[2] On Day 13, Joel was nominated by his fellow Housemates, however in a twist, all of the nominated Housemates were saved and swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe.[10] On Day 21, Joel was nominated again for eviction after a twist meant Sam and Simon were solely responsible for deciding who should face the public vote.[24] However, he survived this eviction on Day 25 beating Eileen.[25] Joel was nominated for eviction on Day 41 after Jack nominated him during Nomination Tag.[32] He then chose to nominate Danny on Day 42.[21] Joel survived this eviction on Day 46.[19] In the Cash Bomb twist on Day 54, he won immunity and therefore earned himself a place in the final week, however it came at a price as he had to nominate another Housemate to automatically face eviction. He chose Sam.[20] On Day 66, Joel left the House as runner-up, finishing behind Chloe.

Kieran

Kieran McLeod, aged 30, is a professional basketball player from Birmingham.[1] Kieran also hosts his own radio show, ‘KMS: The Kieran McLeod Show’.[9] He entered the House on Day 1.[2] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Kieran faced the second eviction.[10] He became the fifth Housemate to be evicted on Day 18 leaving via Big Brother's Timebomb machine.[11]

Marc

Marc O'Neill, aged 29, is a student and stripper from Kildare.[1] Before appearing on Big Brother, Marc starred in the second series of Tallafornia.[35] He entered the House on Day 18 via Big Brother's Timebomb machine replacing evicted Housemate Kieran.[11] On Day 26, Marc was nominated face-to-face by his fellow Housemates for the next eviction, however unbeknownst to the Housemates, this eviction was fake.[36] Marc was fake evicted on Day 32 and moved to the Timebomb Bunker where he was joined by former Housemates Brian Belo, Helen Wood and Nikki Grahame.[37] Between them they were told they would be responsible for the next set of nominations.[38] On Day 34, when all four moved back into the Main House, they nominated Harry Amelia for eviction.[26] The following day they nominated Chloe,[12] then Cristian on Day 36,[16] and Jade on Day 37.[34] On Day 48, Marc was nominated for eviction by his fellow Housemates.[29] Marc was eventually evicted on Day 53 having received the most votes to evict.[30]

Nick

Nicholas "Nick" Henderson, aged 19, is from Hertford.[1] Following his entry on Day 1, the public voted for him alongside four other Housemates to participate in the series' first Timebomb challenge. During the challenge, he was given the nominations Timebomb, meaning he will have to nominate face-to-face every week.[2][5] On Day 4, Nick was involved in another Timebomb twist as he had to make his first set of face-to-face nominations live.[39] On Day 13, Nick was nominated by his fellow Housemates, however in a twist, all of the nominated Housemates were saved and swapped with the Housemates that were originally told they were safe.[10] Nick was nominated on Day 42 after receiving the final Nomination Tag from Danny.[22] Nick eventually survived this eviction on Day 46.[19] On Day 54, following the Cash Bomb twist, Nick was automatically nominated after he was chosen by Cristian to face eviction.[20] In a further twist the following day, the Housemates were given the opportunity to bid for their safety using money out of the remaining prize fund. As Nick placed the highest bid, he saved himself and was forced to swap himself with Chloe, the only eligible Housemate remaining.[14] On Day 66, Nick left the House finishing in fifth place.

Sam

Samantha Kay, aged 27, is a personal trainer from Dundee, but now lives in Cardiff.[1] Before appearing on Big Brother, Sam auditioned for the eleventh series of The X Factor.[40] She entered the House on Day 18 via the Diary Room where she announced to the House that Sarah had been evicted.[11] On Day 20, she was voted for alongside Simon on the Big Brother app to be solely responsible for nominations that week. Collectively they chose Eileen, Jack and Joel.[24] On Day 26, Sam was nominated face-to-face by her fellow Housemates for the next eviction, however unbeknownst to the Housemates, this eviction was fake.[36] Sam survived this eviction on Day 32.[37] Sam was nominated on Day 39, following Jade's eviction after Cristian chose to nominate her in Nomination Tag.[18] She then chose to nominate Harry Amelia on Day 40.[27] She survived this eviction on Day 46.[19] Despite this, Sam was nominated once again for eviction on Day 48.[29] She survived this eviction on Day 53.[30] On Day 54, following the Cash Bomb twist, Sam was automatically nominated after she was chosen by Joel to face eviction. Sam also pressed the Cash Bomb button meaning she had to select another Housemate to face eviction, she chose Jack.[20] On Day 58, as part of another Cash Bomb twist, Sam was offered the chance to take £5,000 for herself or add it to the prize fund for the winner to receive. She decided to take it for herself. On Day 60, despite originally surviving the eviction, a twist meant the remaining nominated Housemates had to randomly select an envelope containing different cash amounts, and the other Housemates had to decide which of them to evict, with the allocated amount being added to the prize fund. Sam was chosen to be evicted adding £15,000 to the overall prize fund.

Sarah

Sarah Greenwood, aged 24, is a law student from Manchester.[1] She entered the House on Day 1.[2] On Day 6, Sarah was nominated for eviction by her fellow Housemates face-to-face,[6] but survived this eviction on Day 11.[7] Despite surviving nominations on Day 13, a twist meant that the Housemates originally safe would face eviction instead meaning Sarah faced the second eviction [10] This led to Sarah becoming the sixth Housemate to be evicted on Day 18.[11]

Simon

Simon Gross, aged 46, is a theatre company owner from Kent.[1] Before appearing on Big Brother, Simon was also a contestant on the second series of Hell's Kitchen.[9] Following his entry on Day 1, the public voted for him alongside four other Housemates to participate in the series' first Timebomb challenge. During the challenge, he lost his place in the House and was immediately evicted.[2][5] Simon is currently the only male Housemate to have been the first to be evicted in a regular series. On Day 18, Simon re-entered the House following another Timebomb twist,[41] and on Day 20, was voted for alongside Sam on the Big Brother app to be solely responsible for nominations that week. Collectively they chose Eileen, Jack and Joel.[24] On Day 26, Simon was nominated face-to-face by his fellow Housemates for the next eviction, however unbeknownst to the Housemates, this eviction was fake.[36] Simon survived this eviction on Day 32.[37] On Day 40, Simon was nominated for the next eviction by Harry Amelia during Nomination Tag. Following this, he chose to nominate Jack on Day 41.[28] On Day 46, Simon was evicted from the House having received the most votes to evict.[19]

Time Warp Housemates

Aisleyne

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, aged 36, previously appeared in the seventh series of the show where she finished in third place. Aisleyne appeared during a special show on Day 34 where she was interviewed by Emma Willis giving her opinions on the Time Warp Housemates. Shortly afterwards it was confirmed that Aisleyne would then enter the House on Day 39, however these plans were scrapped for unknown reasons. Eventually, Aisleyne entered the House on Day 44 during the Housemate's latest shopping task.[42] On Day 48, a twist meant Aisleyne had to nominate face-to-face in front of the other Housemates.[43] She left the House on Day 53.[44]

Brian

Brian Belo, aged 27, previously appeared in the eighth series of the show where he won. He entered the Timebomb Bunker on Day 32 with Helen, Nikki and Marc. They were told that when they entered the Main House they would be solely responsible for deciding who should face eviction. On their big arrival to the House on Day 34, they nominated Harry Amelia for eviction, followed by Chloe on Day 35. Cristian was their next choice on Day 36, then Jade on Day 37. On Day 43, Brian voluntarily left the House, escaping over the garden wall.

Nikki

Nikki Grahame, aged 33, previously appeared in the seventh series of the show where she finished in fifth place. She entered the Timebomb Bunker on Day 32 with Brian, Helen and Marc. They were told that when they entered the Main House they would be solely responsible for nominating. On their arrival to the House on Day 34, they nominated Harry Amelia for eviction, followed by Chloe on Day 35. Cristian was their next choice on Day 36, then Jade on Day 37. On Day 46, Nikki departed the House.

Helen

Helen Wood, aged 28, previously appeared in the fifteenth series of the show where she won. She entered the Timebomb Bunker on Day 32 with Brian, Nikki and Marc. They were told that when they entered the Main House they would be solely responsible for deciding who should be nominated for eviction. On their arrival to the House on Day 34, they nominated Harry Amelia for eviction, followed by Chloe on Day 35. Cristian was their next choice on Day 36, then Jade on Day 37. On Day 44, Helen was given a formal warning for using unacceptable language towards Brian. On Day 46, Helen departed the House.
