Location

Downtown MRT Station (DT17) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line in Downtown Core, Singapore, located underneath Central Boulevard. It serves the southern part of the Marina Bay area as well as future commercial developments within the Marina Bay vicinity.[1]

Illustrations on the walls of the station titled, "Leaves" by Jason Lim shows a connection of dense cell network of bamboo leaves and the business and financial services in the vicinity.[2]

Cladding works on going at the entrance as of May 2012.
