Zen+ is the codename for AMD's eventual Zen successor.[1] Zen+ is expected to bring a slight increase in instructions per clock over Zen, but not nearly as large as the jump from Excavator to Zen.[2] These new Zen+ chips are expected to take advantage of the new 7 nm FinFET process AMD and GlobalFoundries are developing.[3]
