White Cloud City, Nevada

White Cloud City, also known as Coppereid, is a ghost town inside Churchill County country, in Nevada, United States. It had a total population of 40 people. However nobody lives there today.

Coppereid was coined for John T Reid who mined copper. The community had a post office from April 1907 to June 1914.[1]

White Cloud City was named for the canyon which were known for its iron mines that were discovered in 1898.[1]
