Tibesti Region is a region of Chad. It was created in 2008 when the former Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti Region was split into three, with the Tibesti Department becoming the Tibesti Region. The Ennedi Region and Borkou Region were also created at that time.
Bardaï is the major settlement of the region
Parts of the Tibesti Mountains are in the region.
