São Brás de Alportel (Portuguese pronunciation: [sɐ̃w̃ ˈβɾaʒ d͜ aɫpuɾˈtɛɫ]) is a municipality in the District of Faro[1] in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 10,662,[2] in an area of 153.37 km².[3]

The present Mayor is António Jacinto Eusébio, elected by the Socialist Party. The municipal holiday is June 1.
