Roanoke, Missouri

Roanoke is an unincorporated community in Howard County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

History

The first settlement at Roanoke was made in 1834.[2] The community took its name from Roanoke Plantation, in Virginia, the native state of a share of the first settlers.[3]
