Noggin is a video streaming service that offers access to selected episodes and/or full seasons of Nick Jr. programming. The app was released on March 4, 2015.[1]

History

2015: The launch

On February 25th, 2015, Nickelodeon announced that it would revive the Noggin channel and bring back Moose and Zee but this time as the name and mascots for a separate SVOD service using the Noggin brand. The app launched on March 4th, 2015. The app will cost a $5.99 subscription and will give unlimited access to full seasons of cancelled/rarely aired Nick Jr. shows including Allegra's Window, Blue's Clues, Gullah Gullah Island and Oswald.

2016: Themed playlists

Starting January 13th, 2016, the app started doing "themed playlists" in which the app handpicks a selection of full episodes, music videos and Moose and Zee shorts that share a theme. (example: "Animals" in January, "Off to School" in September and "Outer Space" in May)

Available programming

Shows not part of the Noggin channel lineup

The Noggin app has a few shows that aren't part of its lineup when it was a channel. These shows include Nickelodeon series Robot and Monster, exclusive series Pocoyo Planet, Brittish series Teletubbies, Australian series Play Along with Sam and Japanese series Mofy.
