Lurano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,201 and an area of 4.0 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi).[1]

Lurano borders the following municipalities: Arcene, Brignano Gera d'Adda, Castel Rozzone, Pognano, Spirano.
