Luis Philippe Santos Manzano (born April 21, 1981), also known by his nickname Lucky, is a Filipino TV host, VJ, model and former actor. He is the son of award-winning actors, Edu Manzano and Vilma Santos. He is best known for his roles in the television series Komiks Presents: Flash Bomba as Roldana Legaspi and in the 2009 film In My Life as Mark Salvacion.

Biography

Early life

Manzano was born to parents Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano.

Education

He studied at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde in Malate, Manila, with a Major in Hotel and Restaurant Institution Management.

Family

Senator Ralph Recto became his adopted father or stepfather following his marriage to his mother, then he has one half-brother Ryan Christian Recto.

He has two other younger siblings from his father side who were Princess Addoy, 21 and Enzo, 17. Their mother is Rina Samson.

Career

Manzano started his career as a commercial model for clothing brand, Human. He later pursued his TV hosting and acting career. He is also known to be one of the longest serving VJ on Myx channel alongside Iya Villania. He is best known for his roles as Roldan in the television series Komiks Presents: Flash Bomba and as Mark Salvacion in the 2009 film In My Life, wherein he portrayed a gay man and starred alongside his mother, Vilma Santos.

Manzano is a member of Tau Gamma Phi and DLS-CSB Romancon Dance Company.
