Lonedell, Missouri

Lonedell is an unincorporated community in eastern Franklin County, Missouri, United States.[1] It is about eight miles east of St. Clair on Route 30, or about an hour southwest of Saint Louis.

A post office called Lone Dell was established in 1879, and the spelling was changed to Lonedell in 1895.[2] The community was named for the remote dell in which it is located.[3]

Notable people

Shannon Torrez, convicted of kidnapping and assault, was a resident of Lonedell.[4]
