List of aviation accidents and incidents by number of ground fatalities

The following is a list of aviation accidents and incidents which have resulted in fatalities on the ground. A ground fatality is an incident in which the crash of an aircraft causes deaths of people who were not on the aircraft itself; but rather on the ground. Aircraft crashes with a high number of ground fatalities typically occur in areas where there are large congregations of people; such as buildings, marketplaces, and sporting events.
