Jillelaguda is a town in Ranga Reddy district of the Indian state of Telangana.
Government and politics
Jillelguda municipality is the civic body of the town. On 11 April 2016, the gram panchayat of Jillelguda was upgraded to Jillelguda municipality.[1]
It is a part of the Chevella Lok Sabha constituency and Maheshwaram constituency of Telangana Legislative Assembly. Teegala Krishna Reddy is the present MLA of this constituency.
Transport
Jillelaguda is connected to other places within Hyderabad via the TSRTC, with buses available from the DSNR and Midani bus depots. The nearest MMTS station is Malakpet. Jillelaguda also hosts a Grampanchayath Office. The nearest airport is Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Jillelaguda Venkateshwara Swami Temple
A 500 year old Venkateswara temple, known as Matsya Avatara Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple has its presence in this town.
