Himayatnagar is a densely populated part of the southern Indian city of Hyderabad. It adjoins the localities of Narayanguda, Basheerbagh and Hyderguda.It has been surveyed to be most literate locality in Telangana, with over 80% literacy rate.

History
Himayatnagar developed into the residential and commercial frontier of the city around the mid 1960s.
