Glutamyl endopeptidase (EC 3.4.21.19, V8 proteinase, endoproteinase Glu-C, staphylococcal serine proteinase) is an enzyme.[1][2][3] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

Preferential cleavage: Glu-, Asp-

This enzyme is isolated from Staphylococcus aureus strain V8.
