Despedida de Solteiro (English: Bachelor Party) is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo in 1992.[1]

Plot

Pedro, Paschoal and Xampú spend the night partying celebrating the marriage of João Marcos. The party ends in a waterfall, and the young Salete is murdered. João Marcos is stuck in their wedding ceremonies with Lenita, and go to the prison with his three friends. They were sentenced to 21 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. The episode hurts Flávia, Xampú's friend and in love with Pedro and makes Marta leaves her son Léo to take the business left by his brother Paschoal. In turn, is surrounded by the Lenita bad character Sérgio Santarém and marries him.

After seven years in prison, the four young men return to hometown, Remanso, on probation. But Xampú back sick and asked on his deathbed that before leaving wants to marry Bianca. The death of Xampú is a blow to Dona Emília, her mother, that starts to accumulate even more hatred against Pedro, invalidating her relationship with her daughter Flávia. The three friends who are left still have to fight Sérgio Santarém, that strives to send them back to prison, especially because Lenita his wife never forgot her former boyfriend, João Marcos.

In the midst of this battle, the trio gained a new ally, Mike, an American full of mysteries who reaches the city, specifically in the workshop of Cirineu, where he has work and housing.
