Chontla Municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in the north of the State of Veracruz, about 220 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 361.09 km2. It is located at 21°18′N 97°55′W / 21.300°N 97.917°W / 21.300; -97.917.

Borders

Chontla Municipality is delimited to the west by Tantoyuca Municipality, to the south by Ixcatepec Municipality and Tepetzintla Municipality, to the east by Citlaltepec Municipality and Ozuluama Municipality.[1]
