Bhagawanpur (Hindi: भगवानपुर) is a census town & village in Varanasi tehsil of Varanasi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.[1][5] The census town & village falls under the Gourdih gram panchayat.[5] Bhagawanpur Census town & village is about 11 kilometers South-East of Varanasi railway station, 324 kilometers South-East of Lucknow and 1.5 kilometers South-East of Banaras Hindu University.[6][7][8][9]
