Arnold "Arnie" Morgan is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers, as a Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.

Playing career

International honours

Arnie Morgan, won a cap for England while at Featherstone in 1968 against Wales,[1] and won caps for Great Britain while at Featherstone in 1968 against France (2 matches), and in the 1968 Rugby League World Cup against France, and New Zealand.[2]

Challenge Cup Final appearances

Arnie Morgan played, and scored a try in Featherstone Rovers's 17-12 victory over Barrow in the 1967 Challenge Cup final during the 1966–67 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 13 May 1967.

County Cup final appearances

Arnie Morgan played Left-Second-row, i.e. number 11, in Featherstone Rovers' 12-25 defeat by Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1966 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1966–67 season at Headingley, Leeds on Saturday 15 October 1966, and played Left-Second-row in the 9-12 defeat by Hull in the 1969 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1969–70 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 20 September 1969.
