Zhengzhou South railway station

The Zhengzhounan (Zhengzhou South) railway station (simplified Chinese: 郑州南站; traditional Chinese: 鄭州南站; pinyin: Zhèngzhōunán zhàn) is an under-construction railway station in Zhengzhou, Henan, China.

The station is located about 6 km (3.7 mi) to the east of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone. According to the plan, the station will become one of the four main passenger stations in Zhengzhou. Upon completion, the station will become the junction and the terminus of the now under construction Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway and Zhengzhou–Fuyang high-speed railway, and also serve as the main hub for intercity railways in Henan province.[1] The Zhengzhou–Xinzheng Airport intercity railway will also be extended to serve this station.

Construction began on 29 July 2017[2] and the final design of station was disclosed to public on 2 August 2018.[3]
