Zerika

R. Zerika (Hebrew: רבי זריקא) was a Jewish Amora sage of the Land of Israel of the fourth generation of the Amoraic era. He studied under R. Abbahu along with his colleague R. Yirmeyah.[1] He was the pupil of R. Shimon ben Lakish, R. Eleazar ben Pedat, R. Judah ben Ezekiel and Rabbi Ammi was his Teacher par excellence.[2] He used to copy Baraitas and arrange them.[3] He also cites Rav Huna's maxims. His colleague was Rav Zeira.
