Tom Emmatty is an Indian film director who makes movies in Malayalam. His directorial debut Oru Mexican Aparatha[2] is in production.

Career

Emmatty was born in Mattom, a village near Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala. He is a postgraduate in Physics from Christ College Irinjalakuda. Film editing diploma from Chetana Media Institute, Thrissur paved his way to visual Media. His stint with advertisement helped him meet Ranjan Pramod well known Malayalam script writer director. Which inspired him to do movies.

Emmatty joined the film industry as an Assistant Director in Roopesh Peethambarn’s You Too Brutus. His next experiment in the industry was a making video for Anil Radhakrishnan Menon’s Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi. His film Oru Mexican Aparatha movie is based on the campus politics of Maharajas College, Kerala is scripted by Jude Anthany Joseph (Director-Om Shanthi Oshana). Tovino Thomas, Roopesh Peethambaran, and Neeraj Madhav are on the lead roles.[3][4]
