Tirana District (Albanian: Rrethi i Tiranës) was one of the 36 districts of Albania. It had a total surface area of 1,238 km² (478 sq mi) and a projected 2013 population of 888,949 inhabitants. In conjunction with Kavajë District it formed the administrative body of Tirana County.
