The Promenade In Temecula (usually referred to by local residents as The Promenade Mall[1] or, simply, The Promenade) is a shopping mall in Temecula, California, owned by Forest City Enterprises. Opened in 1999, its anchor stores are J. C. Penney, Macy's which occupies two anchor spots: Macy's North (which was a former Robinsons-May) and Macy's South (which preceded North), and Sears.[2]

Originally opened with 3 department stores, Macy's opened in 2002 alongside a new concourse of shops. the Macy's and the additional stores took the remaining space originally set aside for an ice skating rink on the south side of the 766,500-square-foot (71,210 m2) mall; the ice rink never came to fruition.

In recent years, the Promenade has gone through some changes. For instance, two new parking lot towers have been built between the Edwards Theatres and Macy's, and between them, a row of shops called "The Shops on Promenade Drive" have been added, with a new entrance through the JCPenney wing with such stores as White House Black Market, Apple Inc., P.F. Chang's, The Walking Company, Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma. This section of the mall opened on March 26, 2009.

Macy's acquired the former Robinsons-May location which operates as the Macy's Men's, Children and Home store on June 14, 2008, while their original location is a Macy's Women's only store.
