The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Indiana

As of January 1, 2011, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reported 41,290 members in 11 stakes,[1] 99 congregations (68 wards[2] and 31 branches[2]), and one mission in Indiana.[3][4]

Stakes are located in Bloomington, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis (3), Lafayette, Muncie, New Albany, South Bend and Valparaiso.

Announced by Thomas S. Monson in General Conference, 2 October 2010.[5]A public open house was held from Friday, 17 July 2015, through Saturday, 8 August 2015, excluding Sundays.[6] The temple was dedicated on Sunday, August 23, 2015.[7]
