Synaphea is a genus of flowering plants in the family Proteaceae. The genus is endemic to Western Australia.
Description
They are small shrubs, with pinnate leaves and bright yellow inflorescences.[1]
Taxonomy
The name was first published in 1810, devised by Robert Brown from the Greek for union or connection, describing an anomaly in the structure of the flower.[2]

Distribution and habitat
The genus is endemic to Western Australia. It is widespread in the Southwest Botanic Province, and almost never found outside it.[2]
