Sessions@AOL is the title of two separate EPs by alternative rock band Snow Patrol. Both EPs feature the band's performance at AOL music. Snow Patrol was one of the acts chosen in AOL Music's "Breakers" in December 2003, a program to promote bands for months leading up to the release of their respective albums in the United States. Snow Patrol's appearance on the sessions was a part of the program.[1]

First performance

The band's first performance at AOL was when they were touring in support of their album Final Straw in 2004. It was released exclusively on the United Kingdom and German iTunes Stores for digital download on 15 June 2004. The album cover was the same as the album Final Straw.[2]

The album features the band performing six songs from the album Final Straw and an interview with lead singer Gary Lightbody and lead guitarist Nathan Connolly. The interview and their performance of "Run" later made their way to the DualDisc on the re-release of Final Straw.[3]

Second performance

The band's second performance at AOL was when they were touring in support of their album Eyes Open in 2006. A post on the band's website announced that the band had spent some time in Manhattan and performed at sessions@AOL, performing three new songs from Eyes Open.[4] They also performed a cover of the Bright Eyes' song "You Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will.". Gary Lightbody, who has talked about being inspired by Bright Eyes' frontman Conor Oberst, finds him an "honest, eloquent and intelligent" singer.[5]

The EP was released exclusively on the United States iTunes Store for digital download on 31 October 2006.[6]
