The red-breasted paradise kingfisher or fairy paradise kingfisher (Tanysiptera nympha) is a species of bird in the family Alcedinidae. It is found in New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.

Features

It reaches a size of up to 23 cm. It has a red bill, blue forehead, a reddish body with blue-black wings. Its tail is bluish.
