PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond (ポケパーク2 BW ビヨンド・ザ・ワールド Poké Park 2: BW - Beyond the World) is a Pokémon game for Wii. It was released in Japan on November 12, 2011, in North America on February 27, 2012, in Europe on March 23, 2012[1][2]

It is the sequel to PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. In PokéPark 2, Pikachu has journeyed to a new PokéPark with his best friend Piplup. They are introduced to the Wish Park, but later find out that it is impossible to escape the Wish Park. Reshiram and Zekrom inform Pikachu of events to come, and tells Pikachu he can save the PokéPark.

Gameplay

PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond features multiplayer capabilities with up to four people. The player uses one of four Pokémon available, Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, and can switch them out; each Pokémon has their own special abilities. In chase mode, participants capture or tag the other participant. In battle mode, the player can control their Pokémon's every move from dodging, to striking.[3]

Like the first game, this also got a mixed reception as well. Nintendo Power gave it a 5.5/10, saying that "the gameplay is flawed" and "those looking for a deep game should lower expectations".[5] IGN gave the game a 6.5/10, saying that "we’d all do better to hold off for the next true Pokemon title".[4]
