Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) is an international school in the Sultanate of Oman. It was founded in a rented flat in Muscat, as a result of a decision made in the first meeting of Pakistani Culture Centre. Efforts, spearheaded by Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Shafi, were made to collect funds and as a result of the tireless endeavors the school was shifted to its spacious campus in January 1981. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos granted land in Darsait that enabled the school to be established. Since then, the school has seen exceptional growth, both in terms of enrollment and size.

As of 2012, the school boasts an enrollment of over 3000 students and is the largest Pakistani co-educational institute in the Persian Gulf. The school is located in the Darsait area of the city of Muscat. The school’s students have an outstanding reputation in academic as well as in extracurricular achievement. The school has a sprawling campus with an auditorium having a capacity of 2000 peoples, a large open field, various indoor facilities, basketball court, football and cricket ground, computer and science laboratories. The school library was established in 1993 and the junior block was added to the school building in 2004 with an extension of 20 more rooms in 2011. PSM is affiliated with FBISE Islamabad, Edexcel International, London and Cambridge University including the Cambridge International Primary Program and Cambridge International Lower Secondary Program. The school is sponsored by the Pakistan Embassy and is supervised by the board members of the school.

Pakistan School Muscat has evolved its reputation as an international school by providing education to more than 15 expatriate communities residing in the Sultanate. The school has four branches at Musannah, Nizwa, Sohar and Salalah. The school's first batch of students appeared for SSC and HSSC examinations in 1983 and 1985 respectively.

PSM has been organizing carnivals, charity events and concerts for 25 years to help the local community. They also host several inter-school events such as Na`at Competition, Qirat Competition, Debate Competition, and Science and Art Exhibition. [4]
