Orhan Murad Osmanoğlu (Prince (Şehzade)[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] was born in Henley-on-Thames, England on 26 December 1972. He is the eldest son of Prince (Şehzade) Osman Selaheddin Osmanoğlu and his wife Athena Joy Vassib née, Christoforides. He is the great-great-great-grandson of Sultan Murad V, 33rd Sovereign of the House of Osman through his grandfather Prince (Şehzade) Ali Vasıb Efendi, 41st Head of the Imperial House of Osman, and also the great-great-grandson of Sultan Mehmed V Reşad Han Gazi, 35th Sovereign of the House of Osman (the former ruling house of the historical Ottoman Empire), through his grandmother Princess Emine Mükbile Sultan.

Marriage and children

On 17 February 2000, Prince Murad married Brazilian Patricia Iotti. On marriage, Patricia adopted the name Emine and was granted the style of Her Highness. Her full title is H.H. Patricia Emine Hanımefendi. They have two sons; Prince (Şehzade) Turan Cem Efendi who was born in High Wycombe, England, on 7 January 2004 and Prince (Şehzade) Tamer Nihad Efendi born in High Wycombe, England, 15 April 2006.

Life

Prince Murad Efendi attended the Royal Grammar School at High Wycombe[8] and holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of London, He lives with his family in Buckinghamshire, and works for a software development company.
